Stow-on-the-Wold & the North Cotswolds
Personal tech support in your own home, from one familiar local person. You’ll deal directly with me, Pippa, each time. Together, we can work through the things that are troubling you, using your own devices and home setup.
How I can help
A phone question, a printer that won’t connect, an unfamiliar app: we can work through different problems during the same visit, starting with what matters most to you. I help with the equipment, Wi-Fi and accounts you actually use at home, explaining things clearly and giving you time to practise. Simple personalised notes will help you remember what we cover.
Phones, iPads, Android tablets, laptops, email, printers, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, Alexa, WhatsApp, FaceTime, photos and more.
Unboxing, updates, data transfer, app setup, security, accessibility settings and a simple personalised instruction sheet.
Password hygiene, two-factor authentication, privacy settings, software updates, backups and practical scam awareness.
Help learning to use parking apps, online accounts and video calls, or scanning and downloading documents, while you stay in control.
Help using NHS and GP apps, finding app features, setting up wearables and connecting compatible devices.
Patient guidance, useful accessibility settings and simple instructions to help you practise everyday tasks on your own devices.
Need help with something else? My skills are wide ranging, and these are just examples. Please enquire even if your task isn’t listed. Tell me what you would like to do and I’ll explain how I can help, or whether a specialist would be more suitable.
Home visits have a one-hour minimum charge, with additional time charged per quarter hour. Prices are agreed before booking, and we’ll agree any extra time before continuing. You can use your appointment to work through several questions or problems.
Tell me what you need help with and your town or village. I will confirm availability and the visit arrangements before booking.
Ask about a visitAbout Pip-PA
Pip-PA is built around a simple idea: many people are perfectly independent, but modern technology can make ordinary tasks unnecessarily difficult.
When you contact Pip-PA, you speak to me, Pippa, and I’m the person who comes to help. If you book again, you’ll see the same person, so we can build on what we’ve already covered and my familiarity with your setup.
I’m Pippa, and I live in Stow-on-the-Wold. Now that both my children are at university, I’m putting the experience I’ve gained helping my parents and in-laws navigate the digital world to wider use. I’ve seen how much difference friendly, patient support can make.
I offer individually tailored sessions in your own home, with time to ask questions and practise on your own devices, at your own pace. My skills cover a wide range of everyday technology and practical digital tasks, so please ask about anything you need help with, even if it isn’t mentioned here.
